Government and Community Relations

State Relations

State Relations serves as the campus liaison to the state government; working with the Legislature, the Administration, state agencies and policy makers on behalf of UC Davis and its mission in education, research and public service.

State Relations:

  • Facilitates dialogue, provides information and works closely with policy makers and university students, faculty and staff on issues of interest to the UC Davis community.
  • Works closely with public officials and agencies to engage the resources and faculty expertise of UC Davis on issues of public policy.
  • Coordinates campus responses to State legislation, monitors budget development, and areas for collaboration between UC Davis and public officials and agencies.
