Hello, I am a first-generation Political Science student with a minor in Environmental Policy!

Laura Paloma Elizalde is a fourth-year Political Science Major with a minor in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning. During her time at UC Davis, Laura has served as ASUCD Senator and former UCAN Campus Leader. She is co-founder of the Chicanx Latinx Collegiate Association on campus and is a member of the Pi Beta Phi fraternity for women. Here’s what Laura has to say about UCAN: “As a first-generation student, being a UC Advocate is a privilege-- for me, it is an opportunity to advocate for an equitable and accessible education system!”
